We are a small lab building the device and the model at the same time. The roles below are the ones we are hiring for now. Most of them do not exist as job titles anywhere else, so read the mandate rather than the name.
How we hire
We hire for method and learn the domain together. Someone who has inverted waveforms in the earth, cancelled their own echo in a radio, or built a data engine before there was a product is closer to what we need than someone with the right word in their title. Experience with brains is welcome and not required.
We work in person, in Munich, with cooperation partners at universities and labs. We sponsor visas.
Open roles
Head of Physics-Informed Machine Learning
Owns the model of the skull and the coupling of the signals. Simulation, inference, acoustics. Not a pure ML profile.
Waveform and Front-End Engineer
Short codes, self-cancellation before the amplifier, the bench run, the chip spec. Radar or full-duplex radio background preferred.
Head of Application Layer
The data engine: training environment, logging, labels. Data before features.
Lab Lead, Human Studies
Subject studies, ethics, the measurement programme. Experience leading a lab with imaging.
Psychology Lead
Study design so that what we measure today carries the person model tomorrow. Cognitive psychology, thinking frames.
Industrial and Technical Designer
The form factor: where it sits, how it stays, how it stays cool. Mechanics, acoustics, thermals.
Validation, Embedded and DSP Engineer
FPGA and edge, beamforming, filtering, the path from signal to token on the device.
